This digital-only single release features a wee band that grew out of post-lockdown sessions at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm, in Northeast Leeds, and the nearby Primrose pub on Meanwood Road.

We reimagined the old English tune ‘Scarborough Fair’ as an Irish jig, mashed it up with the session slide ‘Road to Lisdoonvarna’ and used some distinctly non-traditional instrumentation to bring it to life.

The second track is our take on the trad standard ‘Out on the Ocean’, given more of an American ragtime swing with guest Perseus Morgan on harmonica, and introduced by David Holmes, Rebel Poet.

There will also be an album available elsewhere soon but not featuring this exclusive take on ‘Scarborough Fair / Road to Lisdoonvarna.’ Enjoy!
